Next year’s Big Bend Natural History Association park calendar is a return to our tradition of great photos by one regional professional photographer and thoughtful narratives by park personnel. Marathon-based art photographer and photo-essayist E. Dan Klepper takes you on a tour of some spots in Big Bend you know like the back of your hand, some you’ve never seen before, and many you’ve never seen like he sees them! Park employees, volunteers, and partners share their perspectives on how the photos resonate with the people who live, work, and play in Big Bend National Park.
Calendar pages display Federal holidays, anniversaries of important (or just quirky) events in park history, and naked-eye astronomy events like meteor showers and eclipses.
