In the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park stands Emory Peak at 7,832 feet, which is marked with a U.S. Geological Survey Bench Mark. A bench mark is a point whose position is known to a high degree of accuracy and is normally marked in some way, often with a metal disk made for this purpose. This solid metal key chain is a roughly 1/3 size replica of the bench mark at the highest point in Big Bend.
