* A Winter Storm Warning is currently in effect for West Texas through Monday afternoon, January 26. Sub‑freezing temperatures and the potential for freezing precipitation are expected. Exercise extreme caution when traveling, as bridges and overpasses are prone to freezing before surface roads.
Intermittent rounds of wintry precipitation will continue today lasting through mid-day Sunday. Extreme cold temperatures have arrived behind the Arctic front which is going to persist through Monday night.
