Tropical moisture will spread east today increasing the risk of flash flooding for the eastern Permian Basin and Lower Trans Pecos this afternoon and overnight. Today will also carry a chance for severe storms in the same areas. Residual flooding will also continue across portions of southeast New Mexico where heavy rain fell last night.
