Big Bend National Park – Current Road Status Update

The current road status for Big Bend National Park is as follows:

RT 15 (Ross Maxwell) has gravel and light debris. Road crews will be working to clear the area; please proceed with caution.

RT 16 (Santa Elena Canyon) is closed due to flooding.

Old Maverick Road is closed due to unsafe conditions.

River Road is closed from Route 12 (Rio Grande Village) to RT 15 (Ross Maxwell).

Glen Springs Road is open to Pine Canyon.

Updates to all closures will be sent out as they become available.
